Randy Light
Chief Executive Officer
Randy Light serves as CEO of Compliance Audit Associates, LLC (CAA) with more than 44 years of employee benefits experience. Prior to co-founding CAA, Randy founded, led, and successfully exited an industry-leading retrospective claims audit practice. He is a noted technical expert in the field of Employee Benefits. His expertise is valued in the analysis of funding techniques, regulatory compliance, and claims audit and investigation services focusing on fiduciary oversight and payment accuracy assurance.
Prior to founding the audit firm, Mr. Light led the Group Benefits Consulting practice for a top-ten CPA and Consulting firm.
Mr. Light was an adjunct faculty member in the Continuing Education Division at Indiana University – South Bend (IUSB) from 1992 to 1998 where he taught Courses 1 and 2 of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) curriculum. He has been educating insurance agents, consultants, Human Resources professionals, and auditors for more than 30 years including presentations at conferences sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, MIS Superstrategies (Internal Audit Executives), the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Dena Miller
Executive Vice President
Dena Miller serves as Executive Vice President of Compliance Audit Associates, LLC (CAA). She is responsible for new business development, establishing market presence, brand awareness and strategic partnerships.
Dena has over 8 years of employee benefits experience and is a passionate leader focused on assessing, and solving, problems. Prior to co-founding CAA, she was successful and effective at working with Brokers, Consultants, and Employer Direct, both public and private sector through various cost containment solutions such as retrospective claims audits, dependent eligibility audits and analysis of high-cost claimants, to name a few.
In addition to employee benefits Dena brings a broad range of over 20 years, experience spanning technology, owner/operator fast casual restaurants and philanthropic service.
